RankSwap

Terms

Draft, October 2026

What RankSwap is

RankSwap helps people who work on websites find partners and agree link trades. We don't sell links, take payment for placements, or place links ourselves. Every trade is an agreement between two members.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and live in a country we serve. RankSwap isn't available to residents of Germany or Austria. You give your real name and country when you sign up, and you can't change your country yourself.

Your listings

You may only list sites where you are allowed to publish or edit content, as the owner, a manager, or a contributor whose agreement with the site permits it. If a site owner tells us a listing isn't authorized (anyone can report a listing), we review the report, and pause it straight away if you're signed in with an email on that site. Upheld reports count as strikes, and three strikes end trading on the account.

Search engines and the law

Search engines, including Google, treat links exchanged mainly to influence rankings as spam, and can ignore those links or demote the sites involved. You decide what you trade and accept that risk. RankSwap doesn't promise rankings, traffic or that links keep any value.

Where you live, a link given in exchange for something may count as advertising that has to be labelled. You are responsible for following those rules on the sites you place links on.

Privacy of listings

Other members see your sites' niche and metrics, but not their domain names. A domain name is shown to the other member only once a trade involving it is accepted.

Conduct

Trade in good faith: place the links you agree to and keep them live. Don't list sites built only to sell or trade links, don't list restricted or illegal content, and don't use RankSwap to collect other members' sites.

Your data

How we handle your personal data, and how to download it or delete your account, is in the privacy policy.
